DIY : My Cactus Dress !

by Lulla
Hello dolls ! I hope you had great holidays ! Now is the time to post on the blog on a more normal pace, as summer is almost finish !

Maybe you remember : Last year, I bought this dress, with the firm intention replicate it in another fabric. I was thinking a heavy velvet fabric would be perfect for winter, but the time I motivate myself to do it, winter was gone. I even doubted I would be able to fulfill my project anytime.
When on a lazy summer day, I did it. Probably the cool cactus pattern of the fabric motivated me to begin AND finish this piece of work –you can’t imagine how many ongoing projects I never finished are on my desk right now-  Well, I was finished this cactus dress project, and all I can say is that I’m very proud of it. It feels so good to be truly  proud of oneself, without any second thought or false modesty… I think there’s no greater satisfaction in the world than to go from A to Z through your one project, and I’m still looking forward to the next one !

What about you, do you have DIY projects underway? You can talk about it in the comments, I’d be curious to know what you’re up to ^^

Merci Sabrina !
Je crois que je vais essayer de persévérer en couture, même si c’est assez chronophage comme activité !
