I’ve always liked to wear dresses, and even more since I have short hair, to bring a touch of femininity. But when the temperatures begin to drop down I admit it’s tricky to be warm in my quite light beloved dresses. So I began to look for the perfect cardigan that could warm my little dresses.
The problem when it comes to wool pieces, is that as a compulsive knitter I have big requests ! I need a beautiful fabric, small details that I won’t manage to reproduce alone, and of course a perfect cut if possible a little retro, without going on the “granny side”. Needless to say that it was not the easiest mission ! But then I saw this little wonder in the chic boudoir boutique of my friend Marilyn Feltz. Immediate crush : impeccable super soft fabric (mohair and silk), embroidery details, and especially a color pop that inflamed heart. Since, this is my favorite cardigan ever, and it gives so much energy as soon as I wear it thanks to its pretty poppy color ! And an other cool fact is that all was made in France by little producers and artisans and that conforts me so much in our era of globalization and mass production. These also exists in black and ivory for the moment, and I already think about buying other colors !
Cardigan : Marilyn Feltz
