Made of Glass

Je reviens tout juste de mon périple parisien, et on peut dire qu’il a été riche en émotions ! Entre une jolie rencontre avec Tokyobanhbao, la découverte de nouveaux restos bien yummy, et des balades romantiques, on a aussi eu droit à un shooting annulé, des réseaux wifi ne me permettant pas de poster, des gens pas très polis, la cohue de Noël dans les magasins… La cerise sur le gâteau? Se faire dégager comme une malpropre de la boutique Marc Jacobs pour avoir osé entrer avec un gobelet Starbucks à la main (sans avoir vu aucun panneau l’interdisant). La loose totale je vous dis…

Enfin, rien de grave, et le positif l’emporte tout de même sur le négatif ! Et à défaut d’avoir une tenue à vous montrer aujourd’hui, voici quelques clichés que j’ai pris du Grand Palais. Venue pour voir la magnifique expo Bulgari qui s’y déroule en ce moment, c’est finalement l’architecture de ce lieu qui m’a le plus intriguée, avec ses verrières dignes du Crystal Palace, vestiges d’une époque révolue. Un beau voyage, vraiment.

I’ve just returned from my trip in Paris, and I can say it was eventful! Between a nice meeting with Tokyobanhbao, the discovery of new yummy restaurants,romantic walks there was also a photo shoot canceled, wireless networks that won’t allow me to post, not very polite people, the Christmas rush in stores … The climax of that? Being kicked out of Marc Jacobs for daring to come with aStarbucks cup in hand (having seen no sign prohibiting it). Bad luck, really …

But the positive still outweighs the negative! And as I don’t have an outfit to show you today, here are some pictures I took of the Grand Palais. I came to see the beautiful Bulgari exposition that is taking place right now, but finally that’s the architecture of this place that intrigued me the most, with its stained glass windows worthy of the Crystal Palace, vestiges of a bygone era. A beautiful journey, really.

Bon, et puis comme j’ai quand même conscience qu’on est sur un blog mode, je vous montre quand même de la sape hein…Mais pas n’importe laquelle tout de même. En passant devant chez Valentino, avenue Montaigne, je suis restée scotchée par cette robe et ces guépières…Qui finalement, dans leur style, sont raccord avec l’ambiance du Grand Palais. La boucle est bouclée !

Okay, and because I still realize that we are on a fashion blog, so I’ll show you clothes … But not any clothes. Passing in front of Valentino in Avenue Montaigne, I was stunned by this dress and these corsets … Who finally, in their style, are fitting with the atmosphere of the Grand Palais. The loop is completed !
